Date:2015-02-02 On January 22, 2015, China Rescue and Salvage of Ministry of Transport (CRS) and China Marine Bunker (PetroChina) Co., Ltd. (CHIMBUSCO) jointly held the signing ceremony of Vessel Fuel Procurement and Supply Contract, which means, in the next three years, CHIMBUSCO will be the only vessel fuel supplier designated by CRS. Leaders from CRS attending the ceremony included Director-General Wang Zhenliang, Party Secretary Zheng Dongbing, and Deputy Director-General Fu Xinghua. General Manager Ge Kaihua, Party Secretary Wang Lujun, and Deputy General Manager Qin Zhigang from CHIMBUSO also attended. The two parties once signed the Fuel Supply Strategic Cooperation Agreement in 2008. During the past six years, CHIMBUSCO has always been offering professional services with robust undertaking and powerful guarantee, which has won highly appreciation from senior management of CRS; in addition, CHIMBUSCO has also accumulated rich experience in serving the rescue and salvage vessels, thereby creating an amicable cooperation atmosphere of mutual trust and win-win for both parties. At the end of 2014, CRS tried to select fuel oil suppliers via an open and fair tender procedure. CHIMBUSCO paid great attention to this tender and made deployment while coordinating dominant resources within the organization. Finally, CHIMBUSCO won the bid by formulating and submitting a complete set of price discount and fuel supply service proposals. With the contract awarded, CHIMBUSCO will again undertake the honorable political task of offering fuel safeguard for national marine life-saving and property salvaging course.
